    Frequently Asked Questions

    FAQs
Can I sell alcohol after completing this course?
This course certifies that you know how to sell and/or deliver alcohol safely and legally if you work for a business that has a license to sell or deliver alcohol. However, it does not provide you with a personal license to sell alcohol independently.
    How long is the course?
The instructional part of the course takes about 90 minutes to complete. There is also a final exam for which you will have 60 minutes to complete.
What do I need to do to complete the course?
To complete the course, you must review all six online modules. After completing these modules, you will unlock access to the final exam. Mandatory activities are clearly identified in the course materials.
    What is a "proctored" exam?
A proctored exam is supervised to ensure security and fairness. We use remote electronic proctoring, which involves using a webcam or smartphone to record you during the entire exam. All exam recordings, whether you pass or fail, are reviewed by our staff to ensure compliance with our Learner Code of Conduct.
What is the Oliver Learner Code of Conduct?
When you enroll in any Oliver online course, you agree to follow our Learner Code of Conduct. This code outlines the rules for completing coursework and exams. The full Code of Conduct can be found in the footer of every webpage in this program and on our website.
What happens if I break any of the Code of Conduct rules?
If you violate the rules, you could have your exam attempt disqualified, be required to retake the exam, or even be permanently banned from the program—without a refund—depending on the severity of the violation.
Is there a time limit to complete the course?
Yes, you must complete the course within 60 days of enrollment. If you do not complete the course within this time frame, you will need to re-enroll and pay the course fee again.
Can I take the course and exam on a mobile device?
Yes, you can complete both the course and the exam on most common mobile devices.
How long is the final exam?
You will have 60 minutes to complete the exam. You can submit your answers at any time after completing all the questions. If you reach the 60-minute limit, the system will automatically submit the answers you have completed.
How many questions are on the final exam?
The final exam consists of 20 multiple-choice questions. Each exam is generated from a larger pool of questions, so you will receive different questions on each attempt. It's important to focus on understanding the course content rather than trying to memorize specific exam questions.
How many attempts will I have for the final exam?
You will have two (2) attempts to pass the final exam. We recommend thoroughly studying the course materials and completing all the activities in each module. Avoid using your first attempt to preview the questions, as they will be different each time.If you do not pass on your second attempt, you will need to re-enroll and pay an additional fee.
Do you make accommodations for learners with special needs?
Yes. Oliver offers accommodations for students with professionally identified learning challenges. We request advance notice of these needs, which can be provided by contacting customer service at 1-800-238-0377 or support@safeselling.com.
